Me and my best friend started dating back in February '11, a week before Valentine's Day, we broke up two weeks after that. I think you understand yourself pretty well actually and I'm not certain why you're asking us. it sounds like you already know that you at least like both guys and girls, the only question is, do you find yourself attracted to people who don't fit into this stupid two-gender system? And the fact that your mother is gay probably does have a lot to do with it, because as you may know sexual orientation is about 50% genetic (the other half has a lot to do with fetal environment and hormones). Depending on where you go to school, life after coming out may not be so different. But if you know there are bullies at school, just try to prepare yourself to deal with them. What type of frog is this?

Ok so this is a little weird but my moms friend went on a fishing trip, and brought her a frog, to eat. It sounds weird and I promise you I don't eat them but my parents like them. Anyways so when I saw it it was still kind of breathing, and it's eyes opened and closed. I was freaked and i let it outside in a mossy patch and i watered it every few seconds. My sister says it might have had a popped blood vessel and that could be why. It looks like a toad but i don't think it is because it's skin isn't warty, it's smooth. It's really big, about 3 by 5 inches. It is a darkish green kind of a swampy color it has a kind of swirly design on it's back, that's a darker green. I'm really worried because when they caught it, i think they damaged it's arm so he can't jump, just move around, lagging it's arm. It was found in Kansas City, Missouri, at Smithville Lake. Tadpole with air bubbles under his skin?

I recently put three small tadpoles in a 20 gal aquarium that I am keeping outside. They are just regular pond frogs/toads. They are growing well and eating vigorously, but then the smallest one starting spending a lot of time near the top of tank. Then I noticed he was upside down and has two air bubbles that I can visibly see under his skin. He can't swim to the bottom of the aquarium because he floats immediately back up to the top. He tries and tries to get to the bottom but the bubbles pull him back up. I'm am so puzzled! Does anyone know what causes this or how I can cure it? I made a full water change and I'm hoping that will help but I don't know what else to do. Also, how long will it take to go away? Will he survive? Thanks!

Those are not fruit flies they are fungus gnats. You say they are in the plant pots and around the plants. The adults you see flying are laying eggs in the soil and they hatch out often so the adults multiply but if there is no more hatching out they will soon disappear. The eggs hatch into larvae that feed on debris in the soil and plant roots. Mix up some dish soap--about 1/2 teaspoon in a quart of water and water the plants with it That will kill the eggs and larvae. Put some in a spray bottle and spray it at the adults and it will kill them too

What could i have done to my knee?

I'm a volleyball player, and I'm the libero for my team so I pretty much spend half my life diving on the ground. So I'm the past I've had some knee problems like tendonitis and I almost tore my patellar tendon also osgoodschlatters (sp.?) But they have confirmed that I out grew that. Anyway, lately when I dive onto my left knee it hurts really bad at first while I'm still on the ground then as I get up the pain is pretty severe and I can hardly support my weight on it. Then the pain travels down my leg and then my ankle hurts really bad even though I didn't do anything to it (I'm sure, I wear ankle braces). So that has happened quite a few times. Then last night the same thing happened and I went through the usual thing of pain but this time the pain didn't go away in about 20 minutes like it usually does. Most of the pain went away in time and by the end of practice I barely noticed it (that's because when I play I don't really feel pain) then after practice it hurt pretty bad and I iced it. Now the next day it doesn't hurt all too bad but sitting the I have minor barely noticeable pain but when I have my foot on the ground and I slightly twist it either way it hurts really bad. Or if I extend my leg all the way it hurts and last if I my my foot/ ankle it hurts. Oh also the pain is centered on the outside of my knee to the bottom left of my knee cap. So what could be wrong with it??

What is wrong with my 03 Dodge Neon?

I bought this car about 2-3 years ago and it currently has 142700 miles on it. A few months after I got it, I noticed it would occasionally lurch when I accelerated, but it wasn't happening often enough for me to really worry about it. Over the past month the problem has gotten significantly worse to where my car will lurch when I'm going from a stop to accelerating, accelerating while already going, or even slowing down at times. I have also noticed that my speedometer is flipping out-sometimes I will be at a dead stop (0) and accelerate and the speedometer won't move when I'm obviously going. After a few seconds it will shoot up to 40-50 when I'm only going at max 15-20 mph. At times the lurching and speedometer problems happen at the same time, and other times separately so I'm not sure if they are related or not. We have guessed that it is maybe a speed sensor but I'm hoping there is someone out there whose passion is cars and can either confirm or correct this guess. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys!

Ideas for family meal?

i'm getting bored of our normal family meals (fish fingers and mash, toad in the hole, spegbowl, stir fry, roast chicken etc.) and thought i'll try to make something new. the problem is there is 8 of us and 2 of the people are very picky about what they eat. basically one of them don't like beef, turkey, lamb or fish and the other one doesn't like pork which makes it hard for me because we seem to always end up with roast chicken. any dinner sugestions welcomed thanks.

How to Shut up annoying Toads/frogs?

We have a small manmade pond in our back yard that is home to many fish. Every single night we hear these obnoxious sounds coming from the pond, which makes it very hard to sleep. We have gone back and discovered the source of all the racket, and it is these toads living in the pond. Their throat gets huge-like a huge bubble and they let out this unfriendly sound that lasts between 5 and 15 seconds. We have netted 20 of these toads ( i think they are toads since they are brown and warty) and have taken them down to a bigger pond down the street. Every night the same noise pursues, even after we just get rid of them. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? Clearly removing them from the pond is not working, as I assume they just keep coming back. It has been giving my family so much discomfort and makes it extremely difficult to sleep. I like my best guy friend?

So the guy i like just came to our school at the very beginning of the year. When I first saw him, I thought he was really cute and I liked him. But I thought that i should just kinda forget about it because he was REALLY quiet and seemed stuck up.(Sounds cheesy, I know) So at lunch my friends and I would try to sit near his table just to be near him...even though i still didn't know him. At the beginning of the 2nd semester, he moved into my social studies class and sat right in front of me. I was so happy...but he still never talked at all. Not even for the teacher. So i'd try striking up a conversation with him but he would kinda just listen and walk away at the end. Now we were in the same summer health/pe class and he's friends with my friend...so we talked. And he's such a sweet person and everything seemed to work out perfectly. I didn't even know him and my friend were great friends. Anyway, I still like him. And I'm just acting as a sister to him and he's like a brother to me. But I like him more than as a brother/good friend. I don't want to ruin the friendship, but I don't want to miss out on a chance. Sometimes he acts like he likes me, and sometimes he acts like a brother. My friend said that he started assuming that I like him...but i didn't want to confirm it or deny it. So now he invited me and my friend to the movies with him. And we're all going (as friends) but I still like him. Again - Cheesy moment! - I kinda like imaging that him and i are walking around the mall holding hands or going to movies together...and now it's all here in a few days. It's funny how it all worked out. But i like him more than a friend but i don't wanna tell him and risk making everything awkward. So what should I do? Just found out Im pregnant!?

I took a HPT on Weds night last week, had blood drawn on Thurs to confirm! Holy heck now what?! They did an ultrasound on Thurs to check for ectopic pregnancy, no sign of yolk sac at all... Went for more blood work on Sunday and again on Tues (yesterday). They have me set for a u/s on Friday this week, and Im nervous that it may be an ectopic... They said my hCG levels keep going up which is really good, and that now they should be able to see the yolk sak on Friday. Has anyone else found out they were prenant and not see the yolk sac on u/s? Im worried. Thanks!

Ok so the other day my brother and I found about 50-70 baby toads. We rescued them from birds that were eating them (Don't answer this question just to lecture me about keeping nature in it's place.) We are going to re-home them in a few days but until then, we need to find food for them to eat. We know they eat ants, fruit flies, gnats, and pretty much anything that moves and will fit in their mouth. The problem is is I need to catch them and a lot of them at one time. I have an AOL account and its my primary email in Mail on my Mac and iPhone. Yesterday, on my mac it began having problems and saying it could not connect to the server or some crap. This morning, It began saying my password was rejected. I confirmed this was not the case by logging in on aol.com. I decided to try and change my password to see if that would help, it did not. And now my iphone will not connect to mail. I already went into settings and changed the password to the new one. I keeps saying my password is incorrect. I've done countless reboots, quits, etc. nothing is working. Anyone know the solution?

Kids found a toad.....what now?
