I think you understand yourself pretty well actually and I'm not certain why you're asking us. it sounds like you already know that you at least like both guys and girls, the only question is, do you find yourself attracted to people who don't fit into this stupid two-gender system? And the fact that your mother is gay probably does have a lot to do with it, because as you may know sexual orientation is about 50% genetic (the other half has a lot to do with fetal environment and hormones). Depending on where you go to school, life after coming out may not be so different. I know at my high school there were two very openly gay guys, probably one lesbian, and a handful of openly bisexual kids. And for the most part, the whole school actually got along pretty darn well. But if you know there are bullies at school, just try to prepare yourself to deal with them. I wouldn't think telling your mother would be much of an issue, but telling your friends could be difficult. I think the main thing is to tell them all at the same time if possible, that way you're not telling one girl friend individually while she sits there wondering if you're about to confess your secret love for her. And seriously, go talk to that girl!!
